HeavenScape Development was amazing! Their a 5 star company and very professional. They did demolition to my garage and left it so clean it looked like nothing ever happened. I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them.

I have a fairly large driveway in Fairview Park in desperate need of removal and replacement. The driveway was sunken down every bit of 4 inches lower than the yard, and multiple layers of old paving. I also wanted it widened about 2 feet. I`ve gotten a number of estimates over the past year. From my first correspondence with HeavenScape they were a standout.Communication was quick, the survey and estimate was well thought out easy to understand and honest. They handled all permits and inspections. The work was great. Couldn`t asked for any better.I absolutely love my driveway now.But more importantly than the driveway and their workmanship was the communication through the entire process, keeping their word on everything along the way, giving updates on progress and informing on what would be coming day to day. Working through a bad weather month. They were incredibly professional knowledgeable and honest. Needless to say they will be the first place I call for future concrete work and a garage demo. Their hard work is very appreciated.

The team at Heavenscape did a fantstic job completing a poolhouse and concrete fence tear-down in our back yard. From the moment I reached out to get a quote, the team was responsive, communicative and timely. The price was reasonable, and I couldn't have asked for a better crew. Professional and courteous with each interaction, they worked with us as a few complications arose (out of thier control), and agreed to take on a little add-on job that popped up as well. I wold recommend to friends, and will definitely use them again if I have a need.

What Do Demolition Contractors Charge in Cleveland, Ohio?
Evaluating the cost of a demolition project involves several key factors that contribute to the overall expense.
Firstly, the size and type of structure to be demolished play a crucial role; larger buildings or complex structures typically require more labor, equipment, and time. Older homes with certain types of construction materials can sometimes weigh more than expected, resulting more weight to be disposed of as well.
Secondly, the location of the property can influence costs, as urban areas may have stricter regulations and higher disposal fees compared to rural locations. Additionally, the presence of hazardous materials, such as asbestos, vermiculite or lead, necessitates specialized removal and disposal, increasing the overall cost. The method of demolition, whether it`s mechanical demolition, deconstruction, or implosion, also impacts the budget, with each approach varying in cost and efficiency, we only handle mechanical demolition.
Permits and compliance with local regulations add another layer of expense, as obtaining the necessary approvals can be both time-consuming and costly. Lastly, site cleanup and waste disposal are integral components, ensuring the site is cleared of debris and materials are properly disposed of or recycled, further contributing to the project`s final cost. Properly assessing these factors helps in providing an accurate estimate and avoiding unforeseen expenses during the demolition process.
At the end of the day, one way to get a rough idea of the cost is to know the total square footage of the structure, and multiple that by a factor of 3 for simple structures like garages and sheds, and multiply by a factor of 10 for complex structures with multiple levels like residential homes.Cleveland Expert Demolition Contractor`s Simple 3-Step Process

- How much does it cost to remove a garage in Cleveland, Ohio?
- Final cost can be affected by a variety of factors, like structure complexity, construction materials like insulation, lead paint, whether there are interior walls, and whether or not the slab is removed as well. In most cases, a simple garage-only removal (without insulation materials/lead paint) can run about $8-11/square foot.
- Do you need permission to remove a garage?
- In almost every municipality, demolition contractors will need a permit to complete an operation like garage demolition.
- Does removing a garage de-value your house?
- No, in fact, some municipalities have zoning restrictions that require at least one garage in residential areas, which means a new structure should replace it, increasing your property`s value.
- How long does it take to remove a garage?
- Most simple 2-car garages can be demolished and removed inside of a day, however we usually plan for at least two days for unforeseen circumstances, and since most local dumps typically close around 3:30pm
- What should I do to prepare for demolition?
- As a homeowner, the best way to prepare for garage demolition is to ensure utlities like electricity have been disconnected and all property is out of the garage (especially certain materials like batteries, paint, tires, chemicals, etc) before demolition contractors arrive so as to not hold up the demo work.
- What are my options for using the space after the garage is removed?
- The potential is only limited by your creativity, although, some municipalities will have zoning restriction that require at least one garage in residential areas.
